Are You Concerned About Dog Boredom?
If not, you should be. Dog Boredom is a common problem among dog owners. A bored dog will bark, chew, dig and possibly have other undesirable behaviors. However, it doesn't have to be this way. Dog boredom can be managed and overcome by utilizing various activities and "dog boredom toys".
To avoid having a bored dog, you need to keep him very active. You can do this by engaging in walks, or various dog games whether at a dog park, or dog beach, or even at home. You can also give them "dog boredom toys". What do I mean by this? I mean give them toys that keep their attention.
Dogs like puzzles. Give them a toy that contains a treat that they need to figure out how to get to. You can keep your dog busy for hours. There is one toy that is a rubber chew toy that contains a hole in the center. You can fill it with peanut butter mixed with powdered milk to give it a dryer consistency. Pack it into the hole and your dog will be busy for at least 30 minutes, depending on how resourceful your dog is.
